Log : An Adjustment Period is Necessary

Castor Oil and Turpentine

I expected my body to have grown accustomed to this protocol even after it has been about 5 months since taking it last and 1 year for actual consistency of it. I expected light symptoms. Yup. That'll teach me.

8:30 am : Lugol's Iodine : 8 drops in water with 1/4tsp celtic salt and companion nutrients.
9 30 am : 1T Castor Oil + 1tsp Gum Turpentine : mix in glass, swish in mouth, swallow.
Make breakfast as normal. Block for 1 hr meal. Have vitamins with meal (Though it always ends up right after meal.)
11:30am : Chlorella

That did not go well. I noticed mild discomfort at around 11am, before I took the chlorella. Then it went south from there. What was suppose to be a cake walk turned into me groaning and gripping my stomach and lower intestines. I felt bloated in my abdomen and cramping in my intestines at 1, 2, 3 o'clock. I was fine with this last week. I thought for sure, I'd be okay again, but apparently I was not.

TMI Incoming :

I went to the bathroom 4 or 5 x in the hour. It was liquid, not the watery stool most 'normies' are accustomed to. I mean liquid state with occasional leafy greens and crushed pumpkin seeds. All of which is some from dinner and breakfast. I'm going to assume the broccoli was liquified in that whole process given how soft it was at dinner last night. Sorry, but I do analyze my stool. It says a lot about what's going on. I was happy to see that I did not produce any flukes like I had before, but it's still early and parasite removal will take time. It will happen though. It's nice that the turps handles this without much effort from me - outside of enduring the die-off symptoms (aka herx symptoms).

Anyway, by the 4th deposit, my morale had gone down, and by the 5th, I was wondering if I could seriously put myself through all of this pain starting at the very beginning again. This is why I avoid talking to anyone who stresses me (especially family). I will have absolutely no tolerance or respect for anyone during this time. Most people don't understand. Most people being my parents, that is. (Sorry mom, dad; but what I have isn't a common cold. I wish you'd absorb that already. It's been 4 years!)

I noticed my pale face in the mirror and had a glass of water with 1/4 salt to help replenish my liquids and help with electrolytes. My body was just so dehydrated. As I got to the later stages of this, I simply didn't want to sit down. "If I'm going to die, I'd rather do so standing up." That's just how I felt. Sitting or laying down made me ill, and frankly there were some parts where I just did not want to move, be moved or touched -hence why I didn't call for my roommate for any help.

By 12:00pm, I started to recover. I was able to move, and the first thing I did was come back to the PC to do more research. I'm so sick of reading up on candida and the section of Bill's protocol where I'm stuck; the part that describes one of the steps in alkalizing drink #2. "keep adding baking soda [to vinegar]  until it stops fizzing.". I tell you I have tasted and hate that phrase because the mere idea of drinking that induces something I'd rather not elaborate upon.

Roommate found me and asked what protocol was after lunch. "I'm not taking anything else today!" I protested. I was in pain. No way was I going to ask for more. Of course when I felt better, I decided to have the alkalizing drink for the blood, which is 1 Tbsp organic apple cider vinegar and 1/4-1/2 tsp baking soda. That has a very neutral flavor and looks worse than it tastes going down. (If only castor oil were like this!) Bonus : I had some energy after this. I felt peppy. That's so weird to say considering how I felt earlier

It's clear to me that I can't just dive right back to where I left off last year with my protocol. I must ease myself into it all over again. Drat. I was hoping to save some money by enduring it. The die-off is too much for me to bear even only with part of the morning protocol. This will clearly take some time.

Tomorrow is borax day. I should be okay with that. Maybe I'll try combining it with the Alkalizing Drink #1 (for blood : 2T OACV + 1/4-1/2 tsp baking soda) so I can have a little time where I'm not hounded on a schedule. I still like the idea of taking apple cider vinegar before/after eating. I think it helps with the indigestion.
