SKIN : got a little color in my skin this morning

PAIN : continued soreness in the lower right back (kidney area)

APPETITE : very slight appetite? I want some nutrition though. im tempted to have broth or soup again.

FEELING : weak, hip joint (right side again) feels tight. I almost feel brittle, if that's a thing.

URINE : normal (always dark first thing in the morning)

STOOL : (same as yesterday) things still moving, weak digestion so I can still see leaves from salads etc

OTHER SYMPTOMS:
  • slight burn in tummy.

DAY SO FAR :
  • 7:am woke up fine. Laying down, especially in the center of the bed where it doesnt dip seems to be the only comfortable position for me. Standing, sitting, laying in my usual grooves offer some discomfort.
  • 7:15 am - iodine with companion nutrients (incl wegman's wit C tabs)
  • 7:30am - Roomie said it may be a pinched nerve of sorts, so I raised my keyboard so I am standing.
  • 7:50am - Wven walking around the apt, I felt tension still.Standing for just 20 min so far still gives me some discomfort. Also tires my thighs a little. I feel stiff if Im standing in one spot for too long. Stiff in the legs, knees, and neck (right side of the neck)
  • 8:30am - laid down on couch. it was the only spot that actually afforded me some rest. Gently massaged my legs. Tummy had a burning sensation. I'm not hungry, but my body wants nutrients.
  • 9:00am - decided to make soup
  • 9:20am - some cramping right between my naval and my right hip bone while i was making soup.
  • 10:30am - had 2.5 bowls of soup. I guess I wanted more than I realized. I still don't want anything heavy though. Had vitamins at the 2nd bowl.
  • 10:48am - walked a little, noticed itchiness behind right knee again (the very same thing that started all of this)
  •  11:12am - urine normal, noticed tightness in my hamstring (right), and a little less in my left. Back pain still present. Plan to take arnica at 11:20/30
  •  12:12pm - arnica then rested on back on couch
  • 1:15pm - slight burning sensation in tummy
  • 1:28pm - reached for a handful of crackers an-- roomie called to check in on me. I seem to have a slight appetite, but i still dont want to eat much, so only small meals will do for now.
    • Still experiencing the same issue with my lower back, slight inflammation on the lymph on the right side of my neck. It's gotten itchy behind my right knee (again). It randomly comes for a bit then goes away. Tightness in my outer and inner thigh.
  •  3:28pm - sharp sudden pain in my mid-back on the left side this time. I was at the PC when it happened. Going to AFK to have a late lunch now. Then laying down to rest my back

POSSIBILITIES:
  • sciatica - roomie's initial guess yesterday
    • it doesnt explain the nausea or stomach burning but it does highlight that it affects only one side of the body. Plus I have been having issues on my right side for a few months and it's gradually worsened.

For the record, I had been off protocol for about 2 weeks while I was in the process of reordering my usual vitamins and antifungals. Did not experience any issues till now.

SKIN : slightly pale skin yesterday, today also

PAIN : lower-mid right back pain

APPETITE : slightly lacking at dinner time last night, this morning, no appetite

FEELING : tired, a little weak, cold overall since yesterday, stressed from midges

URINE : normal

STOOL : things still moving, weak digestion so I can still see leaves from salads etc

OTHER SYMPTOMS:
  • Feel nauseous, slight burn in tummy.
  • warm gurgling in tummy

DAY SO FAR :
  • 7:am woke up with lower back pain. did gentle stretches in bed under midge tent.
  • 7:15 am - iodine with companion nutrients (incl wegman's wit C tabs)
  • 8:00 am - 1 cup bone broth
    • half of what I normally have in the morning. I just didnt feel like having much
    • noticed i didnt have much energy, felt weak. bone broth usually makes me feel loved, which it did at first but still felt weak after
    • felt and looked a little pale. soreness around lower right back, then spread to middle right back
    • gassy, was also gassy last night after dinner (too much ground meat in meal, maybe?) burping when i can
  • 8:50 am - started chopping onions for breakfast, felt ill, lacked appetite. Put the onions away for now. Feeling of wanting to vomit.
  • 9:00 am - did not vomit, but felt warm burn in my stomach
  • 9:30 am - cold. turned up the heat, felt very tired/sleepy.
  • 9:40 am - still a little nauseous and cold. tempted to bundle up now. . thirsty, dont want cold water though.
  • 9:54 am - body wants something warm, maybe soup. AFK to make soup
  • 10:00 am - put hoodie on; made soup
    • onions, 2 Tbsp of last night's ground beef dinner, miso, ginger powder, turmeric, black pepper, egg and lemon
  • 11:20 am - 3.5 bowls of soup. It turned out to be a sour soup, but it was nice and I feel a little better. I still feel off, but a little better. I'm not taking vitamins atm because I dont want the cold water right now. I still feel sensitive to things.
  • 11:52 am- very sleepy, fighting to nap at desk
  • 12;12 pm - nodded off at desk for 5m, still dont feel that much better since post meal.
  • 12:15 pm - during urination, felt a sharp stinging sensation in the lower spine. It's still there. What the hell? lower back soreness on my right and slightly less on my lower left back still present.
  • 12:30 pm - 1 scoop chlorella in warm water. I need to do something. If this is toxin related, this should help a little.
  • 1:24pm - right lower back/kidney area still tender. Feels swollen?
  • 1:47pm - walked a little bit around the apt, felt a little better, but then felt slight dull pain in the inside of my right foot. Consulted reflexology chart out of curiosity and it pointed to bladder/small intenstine area
    • STILL EXPERIENCING
      • tenderness on the lower right back / kidney area
        • some inflammation to touch
      • slight nausea
      • loss of appetite
      • uneasy stomach
      • feels cold and gradually getting colder
      • sleepy
  • 2:26 pm - urine is practically clear
  • 3:20 pm - area i mentioned on foot at 1:47pm now feels itchy
  • 3:31 pm - front side of upper thigh near socket feels tight, some discomfort. Foot area itchiness is going down?
  • 3:35 pm - going to have more soup
  • 5:44 pm - n/c
  •  ...
I rested on the couch after soup for an hour and a half before taking a nap. The inflammation on my back did not get worse but I also felt some along the right side of my neck. Everything seems concentrated along the right. It's very strange.

Roomie surmised that it might possibly be a pinched nerve of some sort, but I couldnt get around why it would make ma nauseous and affect appetite.I had no other explanation. This may be related to my hamstring issue which can be traced back to October 2018 (and all the events surrounding that) when I initially felt itchiness behind my right knee. He also thinks the stress from the midges may have upset me more than I realized - and i really dont want to deal with those bastards again. Thank God for the current gust of wind atm.

I had dinner late, at around 8:45pm. I was only able to have half the meal; leftover ground beef with snowpeas and roasted brussel sprouts and in addition to that a comparable size of collard greens in onions and garlic. At least I think it was collard greens? After 1.5 hours, while I was washing the dishes, I felt nauseous again and had a burning sensation in the center of my stomach, maybe just above my naval. Roomie suggested I take arnica, so I took a dose of that before bed at midnight.

POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS ? :
  • cycle is about to arrive - though its unusual for me to feel nauseous
    • I don't get spinal pain as a PMS symptom!
  • indigestion - but i felt pale before having dinner last night, so not quite sure
  • UTI - ? i dont have a burning sensation when i urinate though. So not all symptoms are there.
  • weird pinched nerve?
Continue to day 2.

Everyone who has candida has their own custom journey. This isn't really a guide or tutorial to anything. It's more like a narrative in my head to remind myself what I went through, what I've tried, where I've failed, and if I'm lucky, what has worked. The brain fog is real, and anything that can help me think things out or process thought is welcome. Like everyone else who has been conscripted by candida, I just want to get better and get outta here.
